Head of School's Message

Lost Property: We wanted to reach out regarding the numerous personal items that have not yet been claimed at the nursery. To help us ensure that your child's belongings are returned to you promptly, please make sure that all items are clearly labelled with your child's name.

We understand how costly it can be to replace items, and we are committed to doing our best to return them to you each day.

Additionally, we would like to remind you about our clothes rail, which is available if you wish to donate or refresh your child's wardrobe. It's a great way to share and receive gently used clothing items within our community.

Recruitment: As we continue to grow and enhance our nursery, we are currently looking to recruit new Early Years Practitioners. If you know someone who is passionate about nurturing young minds and would be an excellent fit for our caring and dedicated team, please kindly direct them to the school's main office for more information.

Your support in helping us build a strong team committed to providing personalised learning experiences is invaluable. Together, we can continue to ensure each child thrives in our welcoming and supportive environment.

Book & Rhyme of the week

Nursery room will also continue with the story' Owl Babies.'

As they have now read the story the children will be creating a short rewrite of the story to help them learn the story by heart.

They will be retelling the story pretending to be owls, using props and toy owls.

For phonics this week the children will be focusing on rhythm and rhyme, looking at different nursery rhymes and discussing patterns and rhyming couplets.

The Key Words for this week relate to this rhyming activity and will be 'rhythm,' 'same' and 'different.'

Success Story of the Week!

We are thrilled to share the success of our recent trip to Oxhey Park, where the children had an enchanting experience observing the 'owls' in the trees.

It was a joy to see their excitement as they explored the park, and we are so proud of how well they embraced the adventure of their outing beyond the nursery. A heartfelt thank you to all the parents who joined us and assisted during the trip. Your support and involvement truly make these experiences memorable and enriching for the children.

We eagerly look forward to more such excursions in the coming year, creating wonderful memories together and nurturing a love for learning in every child.
