Head of Schools Message
I would like to take this time to emphasize the importance of our Catch-up Calls, where we share your child's recent successes and discuss our ongoing efforts to enhance their independent skills, attainment, and overall well-being.

These sessions are vital for maintaining a strong connection between home and nursery, and we value your participation. Whether it's through phone calls or responding to the emails we send out, your involvement is crucial in supporting your child's development.

I hope you will see that the Catch-up Calls provide you too with an opportunity to ask questions, either via telephone call or through your email response, so that you are fully aware of your child’s learning journey here at Oxhey.

Your feedback is always welcome and we encourage you to share any thoughts you have on how these Catch-up Calls might be improved.

We are committed to ensuring that our communication is as effective and supportive as possible as we progress through the term.

Nursery will also use instruments as an emerging bridge between sound and phonics. They will listen to pieces of music and try to identify common musical instruments.
The Key Words for this week relate to their text and will be clutched, pebble and tent

Success Story of the Week!
We are thrilled to share the success of our recent drumming workshop at the nursery!
It was a joy to see the children enthusiastically engaging with music using instruments and drumsticks.
The workshop was designed to spark creativity and nurture a love for music, and it certainly succeeded.
The children participated with great energy, moving to the rhythms and beats with delight. Their smiles and laughter filled the room, creating a joyful and exploratory atmosphere.
Such activities help enhance not only their musical abilities but also teamwork, coordination, and self-expression. We are proud of how our little musicians embraced this experience.
